# After you save

> Right after a save, file the capture into a space, add a note or tags, pin it, or set a reminder.

## Organize it

On Mac, the arrow on the receipt, or `⌘O`, opens the capture.

On Mac:

1. The receipt reads **Saved to Inbox**, or the space's name. Click **Add space, note, or #tag**, press `Tab`, or just start typing.
2. Type a space's name and press `Return` to move the capture there, or pick **New space** to create one.
3. Type words to add a note, or words starting with # to add tags.
4. Type “pin”, or click the bookmark, to pin it. Type a time like “tomorrow”, “fri 3pm” or “in two weeks”, or click the clock, to set a reminder.
5. Press `Return` on an empty box, or `Esc`, to close.

On iPhone and iPad:

1. After you save in the app, the **Organize** step shows **Saved**, the cover and a title field.
2. Tap **Space**, **Tag**, **Remind** or **Note**.
3. Tap **Done**.

On iPhone and iPad, drops and Siri saves skip the Organize step. The share sheet has the same buttons.

## Undo

On Mac, `⌘Z` undoes the last move, pin or reminder. `⌘⌫` moves what you just saved to the Trash, and **Put back** (`⌘Z`) restores it. On iPhone and iPad, the trash button in the Organize step asks first, then moves the capture to the Trash for 30 days.

## How long it stays

On Mac, a receipt from the capture widget stays until you close it. A receipt for something saved another way, like a drop, a paste, Services, an extension or the copy hint, leaves after a few seconds. Hover over it to keep it, or click it to start typing.

## Questions

### How do I undo a save?

On Mac, press ⌘⌫ on the receipt to move the capture to the Trash, and Put back (⌘Z) to restore it. On iPhone and iPad, tap the trash button in the Organize step.

### The receipt went away before I could file it.

Receipts for captures made outside the widget leave after a few seconds. Hover over one to keep it, or click it to start typing.

### Why does the receipt say Already saved?

You saved this before. Resurf adds any new tags and spaces to the original instead of making a second capture.
