# Starred

> Pin a capture to star it, so it stays one click away under Starred.

## Star a capture

Starred and pinned are the same thing. Menus and buttons say **Pin**, and the place you find them is **Starred**.

On Mac:

1. Select one or more captures and press `P`.
2. Or right-click and choose **Pin**, or click the bookmark button at the foot of the inspector.
3. Do the same again to **Unpin**.

On iPhone and iPad:

1. Open a capture and tap **Pin** on its panel.
2. Or tap **More**, then **Pin**. For several, select them and tap **Pin** on the bulk bar.

With several selected, if any isn't pinned, all get pinned. Otherwise all are unpinned.

## See what you starred

A pinned card shows a filled bookmark. Pinning doesn't move a capture to the top of other views.

On Mac:

1. Click **Starred** in the sidebar, or press `⌘3`.

On iPhone and iPad:

1. Open the Places page and tap **Starred**.

## Questions

### What's the difference between Starred and Pinned?

None. They're two names for the same thing.

### Why can't I find a star button?

The button is a bookmark labelled Pin.

### Do pinned captures show first in my library?

No. Pinning doesn't change the order. Open Starred to see them together.
