## Your update window

A Standard license includes every update released in the 2 years after you buy. When the window ends, the version you have keeps working with no limits; it just stops receiving new versions.

A Lifetime license includes every future update. Sign in at [resurf.so/license/manage](https://resurf.so/license/manage) to see your window.

## Renew a Standard license

Renewing adds another 2 years of updates, starting the day you renew. There is no deadline and nothing renews on its own. The renewal price is on [resurf.so/license](https://resurf.so/license).

Or upgrade to Lifetime from [resurf.so/license/manage](https://resurf.so/license/manage) and never renew again.

## Refunds and discounts

- **Refunds.** Within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Email [support@resurf.so](mailto:support@resurf.so).
- **Students and educators.** Email [support@resurf.so](mailto:support@resurf.so) from your school or institution address for a discount.

Prices are in USD and checkout runs through Polar.

## Questions

### Does a license include AI?

No. AI features are optional and use your own OpenAI key, billed by OpenAI. Everything else, including search by meaning on Mac, needs no AI account.

### Will I be charged again?

No. Both licenses are one-time payments. Nothing renews automatically.

### Where are my receipts?

Settings → Account → Manage opens resurf.so, where purchases and receipts live. Sign in with your checkout email.
