Everything you save is plain files on your Mac. Here's how to see them, back them up, and export them.
Show vault in Finder lives in the Vault menu and in Settings. Each capture is a folder: capture.json, a note.md, and the original files. Look around freely; make changes inside Resurf so the library stays tidy.
Settings → Data has a Back up button that saves the whole library as one dated zip. Turn on automatic backups to run daily or weekly, keep a few recent copies, and point them at another folder or an external drive.
Tip · Sync is not a backup. Sync makes every device match, mistakes included. A backup is a copy frozen in time.
Export everything, also in Settings → Data, gives you a spreadsheet of all captures plus your notes and original files. It's always available, license or not.
