The widget is a small floating panel that stays out of your way. Learn one shortcut and you can save a note, a link, an image, or a voice note from any app.
Press ⌘⇧C in any app. Type a thought, press ⌘⏎, and it's saved. Esc closes the widget. You can change the shortcut in Settings → Keyboard shortcuts.
Six steps: Write, Quote, Link, Media, Voice, Screenshot. Press w q l m v s to jump between them. Each step keeps its own draft, so hopping over to grab a link and back never loses what you typed.
⌘V in the widget or the main window figures out what's on the clipboard: text, an image, a file, a link. Dragging works everywhere too: onto the main window, the widget, the menu bar icon, or the Dock icon. Drops land in the space you're currently browsing.
Tip · Any file type is welcome. Zips, .docx, .psd, .epub: nothing is ever refused as unsupported.
Select text, a link, an image, or a file in any app and choose Capture to Resurf from the Services menu. For automations, the resurf://new?url=… URL scheme works from Raycast, Alfred, and Apple Shortcuts.
