Screenshots that remember where they came from

A screenshot saved in Resurf is more than pixels. It knows which page you were on, and its text is searchable.

Pick an area

Press ⌘⇧2 and drag over the part of the screen you want. It's the same selection you already know from macOS. A whole window or the full screen work too. The widget hides itself first, so it's never in the shot.

It keeps the source

If a browser is in front, the screenshot saves with that page as its source. Open the capture and the original page is one click away. The words in the image are recognized, so search finds them too.

First run

macOS asks for Screen Recording permission the first time. If it was denied, the widget shows a card that opens the exact System Settings pane, and capture picks up on its own once you grant it.
